• System Maintenance and Optimization: Ensure the optimal performance of our systems through regular maintenance, updates, and optimizations. This includes planning and expansion of both virtual and physical systems.
• Problem Resolution: Quickly identify and resolve system issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring stability across our IT landscape.
• System Monitoring: Continuously monitor system performance to preemptively address potential issues before they escalate.
• Automation: Automate routine tasks, improving efficiency and reliability of system operations.
• Collaboration and Support: Work closely with the IT team to provide technical support and collaborate on various projects, under the guidance of the Architect.

• Proven Experience: Demonstrable experience (5 years or more) as a Linux Administrator, with a track record of managing complex IT environments.
• Educational Background: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Certifications specific to Linux administration (such as LPIC or RHCE) are preferred.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Linux systems, including system administration, security, and network management.
• Problem-Solving and analytic skills: Ability to quickly identify and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Always Learning Mentality: A commitment to continuous learning and adaptation in response to the ever-changing technology landscape.
• Innovation and Adoption of Latest Technologies: Eagerness to stay ahead of market trends, with a particular focus on container technology and infrastructure, reflecting our commitment to adopting innovative solutions.
• Automation and Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl to automate routine tasks.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.
• Language Skills: Must be proficient in both German and English.
